Writing a Book about Conflict of Interest

Even though conflict of interest has been widely discussed in the world’s scientific literature, and several books and articles have been written in this field, unfortunately there was no collection written in Persian including definitions, dimensions, shapes, experiences of other countries, and management solutions. Creating a written document consisting of scientific literature and observing historical and global experiences and presenting proposals for managing conflict of interest is the most basic, and at the same time the most important step of combating against corruption in the country. Also, according to other necessities such as “the need to explain the relationship between conflict of interest and corruption”, “the need to explain the difference between conflict of interest and conflict (such as conflict of groups and  professions interests)”, “the need to recognize different types and forms of this phenomenon”, “the need to recognize the examples of conflict of interest in the country and  studying international experiences”, “the need to examine and recognize the legal and historical dimensions of conflict of interest”, and “the need to provide a solution for managing conflict of interest in the country “, Transparency for Iran decided to write a book about conflict of interest in 2018. The project is currently underway and the book will be released soon.
