The transparency standard has improved over the years. About fifty years ago, the detailed publication of parliamentary debates in the country’s official newspaper was considered a high standard, but today, with the development of information technology tools, this method of publication has the lowest level of transparency. Realizing this issue, Transparency for Iran established the Deputy of Information Technology to provide transparency with the highest quality in line with the development of this field. Also, due to the need of other teams and deputies to use IT knowledge, the web-based systems have been developed mainly with the joint-cooperation with other teams.

Among the prominent activities of this deputy are the Official Transparency Website (https://tp4.ir/), the Discussion Hall (https://discuss.tp4.ir/), the Transparency of Treaties System (https://cdb.tp4.ir/), Parvaznama system (http://parvaznama.com/), Crowdsourcing website (https://jamnevisi.ir/home), Ghanoonban Website (https://ghanoonban.ir/), Majlesnama website (http://majlesnama.ir/), and Rasmio website (https://rasm.io/). These websites have all been developed by the specialized knowledge of the technical team of this deputy, and all its activities from the design of the user interface and development of Backend and Frontend have been coordinated and developed in this deputy.
