Deputy of Promotion and Public Relations

In 2013, for the first time in the country, Transparency for Iran studied transparency and a network of concepts for preventing corruption theoretically and comparatively with international experiences. In the first two years, the activities focused on global experiences and adapting solutions to Iran’s indigenous needs, and after that started to train transparency, and to implement various projects to achieve transparency in organizations and institutions. The Deputy of Promotion and Public Relations started its activities with the aim of creating dialogue and teaching the concept of transparency. Three audiences are imagined for the activities of this deputy:

“General Public”, “Institutions and Organizations”, and “Elite and Academics”.

Given the importance of demanding transparency on the part of people, one of the most important goals of this deputy was to create a discourse of the concept of transparency among the public bodies. Therefore, all kinds of video clips, interviews, TV programs, as well as development of website and social networks have been done for this purpose.

The second group is institutions and organizations whose transparency can be effective in improving their performance. In this regard, the Deputy of Promotion and Public Relations also defined two special features for itself; the first is to teach the concepts of transparency and prevention of corruption to the applicant organizations and institutions, and the second is to prepare various documents, brochures and proposals for organizations in which it is possible to carry out transparency-based projects.

The third group is elite and academics. Given the importance of scientific and principled promotion of the concept transparency and other concepts of anti-corruption conceptual network, education and principled transfer of concepts is one of the Think Tank’s duties, doing so several training sessions had been held in the Transparency for Iran and universities, which in addition to informing the scientific community about the latest achievements, it will also acquaint students with these topics which will promote this concept in the elite network.
